Sloss Tech 2023
For five years, Sloss Tech has brought together the best and the brightest of today's tech entrepreneurs, both nationally and locally. The event is a hub for Birmingham's tech community, where founders, startups, companies, and tech enthusiasts can share ideas, build relationships with one another, and push the boundaries of innovation.
The hiatus between Sloss Tech 2019 and this year was a system crash. Now as they reboot, the glitches encountered are a prism, allowing us to see Birmingham, technology, and the intersection of the two through a new perspective and light.

The graphic elements were inspired by the patterns and textures that present during a glitch. The patterns are macro representations of pixel shapes and arrangements, inspired by retina displays of various Apple products and popular retro tech patterns. The displacement and discoloration of glitches heavily influenced the photography style throughout the Sloss Tech brand.
